Referral Program Terms

These Referral Program Terms (“Program Terms”) govern the DeFi Daddy referral program (the “Program”). They are part of your agreement with DeFi Daddy together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If they conflict on referral rewards only, these Program Terms control for that topic.

1. Overview

Eligible members may share a unique referral code. When a new member you refer becomes a paying Pro member after completing the standard 3-day Pro trial, you may receive one free month of Pro membership credit, subject to the caps and rules below.

2. Eligibility

• You must have an active DeFi Daddy account in good standing.
• One permanent unique referral code per account (account-bound; not transferable).
• We may suspend Program participation for abuse, chargebacks, or ToS breach.

3. How referral works

1. Share your code (copy link / paste code).
2. New user attaches the code at register (?ref= or paste). The first valid code sticks; it cannot be changed later.
3. New user gets the normal 3-day Pro trial (unchanged).
4. Qualify event (HARD LOCK): the referred user converts to a full paid Pro membership after the trial — first successful paid charge / active paid subscription past trial.
5. Never qualify on trial signup or trial start alone.

4. Reward

• One (1) free month of Pro per qualified convert.
• Default mechanic: credit applied to the referrer’s next Pro renewal (Stripe customer balance or equivalent one-month skip). Exact timing may vary by billing cycle.
• Cap: maximum twelve (12) free months per referrer per calendar year (America/Vancouver).
• Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not a refund of fees already paid.
• The ToS no-refund policy still applies to all paid fees.

5. What does not qualify

• Self-referral (same person, email, Stripe customer, or payment method fingerprint).
• Fake, bulk, or farmed accounts.
• Referred payment that is refunded, charged back, or fails to settle (we may wait a short settle window before unlocking credit).
• Referrals above the annual cap.
• Codes attached after register when no code was captured (unless we expressly allow a one-time grace — default: register only).

6. Cancel and stacking

• If you cancel Pro, unused referral credits may be forfeited (default). Credits already applied to an open paid period are not clawed back as cash.
• Referral credits do not stack into cash payouts, gift cards, or crypto.
• We do not pay you for referring; this is a membership discount / access credit only.

7. Our rights

We may modify, pause, or end the Program prospectively. We may withhold or reverse credits for fraud or error. Program is void where prohibited.

8. Claims and marketing

Do not represent the Program as cash, income, employment, or unlimited free Pro. In-product copy must match these Program Terms. Company emails that push “invite friends / earn free months” are marketing and require opt-in under our email rules.
