How to monitor DeFi health factor across wallets

If you borrow in DeFi, health factor (HF) is the number that tells you how close a position is to liquidation. It moves when collateral prices move. Miss it, and you can get liquidated while you’re asleep.

This guide explains what HF means, how to watch it across more than one wallet, and how a non-custodial risk cockpit like DeFi Daddy™ fits in.

What health factor means (plain English)

On many lend/borrow protocols (for example Morpho, Aave V3, Venus, Kamino Lend), health factor is a ratio of collateral vs debt. When HF falls too low, the protocol can liquidate collateral to cover the loan.

Important honesty: not every product uses classic HF. On Flare, Enosys Loans uses ICR (individual collateral ratio), not Aave-style HF. Firelight is an XRP LST (stXRP) on Flare — not classic HF coverage.

Why one wallet view isn’t enough

Serious users often hold positions across:

Checking each app tab by tab is slow and easy to miss. A cockpit that scans public wallets you paste, shows positions and HF/ICR where applicable, and can alert you is built for that job.

What to look for in a DeFi risk monitor

  1. Wallet scan — paste addresses you control (non-custodial; the tool doesn’t hold your funds)
  2. Health factor / risk metrics — clear HF (and ICR where that’s the real metric)
  3. Borrow power / available liquidity — how much room you have before stress
  4. Alerts — so you don’t only check when you remember
  5. Honest coverage — only protocols/chains the product actually scans

Coverage that matters (honest scope)

DeFi Daddy focuses on lend/borrow risk, not “all of DeFi.”

Examples of live coverage areas (product claims gate):

Always treat marketing claims as what is scanned today, not a promise of every protocol on a chain.

Multi-wallet tip

Paste up to 10 wallets in one place when you can. Aggregate totals help you see the whole picture; still open individual positions when HF is tight.

How to start (2 minutes)

  1. Open www.defidaddyapp.com
  2. Tap Scan
  3. Paste a wallet you use for lend/borrow
  4. Review health factor / borrow power
  5. Start the 3-day free trial if you want alerts + ongoing monitoring (Pro is $29/mo after)

DeFi Daddy is non-custodial: it monitors and alerts — it does not custody funds, execute trades, or promise you won’t get liquidated.

Bottom line

Liquidations are a process risk, not a personality flaw. Monitoring HF across wallets is the control layer. Scan once, then decide if a cockpit + alerts belong in your routine.
